Rhythms
Soon expanding into Latin dances including Samba, Cha-cha, Rumba, Pasodoble, and Jive.

Outdoors
Dance Outdoors lessons are filmed outdoors because dance doesn't belong only into four walls. Dance can happen anywhere. A studio is only one place to learn. Sometimes a rocky shore, a park, or an open landscape inspires creativity, freedom, and expression. We want our lessons to reflect that spirit.

Dance is not only about technique, choreography, or self-expression. It is also one of the most powerful ways to learn more about yourself.
It is one of the few activities that engages the body, mind, emotions, creativity, and presence all at the same time. The true value of dance is not found in mastering steps or routines, but in what you discover along the way.
Dance challenges both body and mind. It helps you stay active, develop self-trust, strengthen your connection to yourself, and rediscover joy in movement.
Dance also offers something many of us are missing in today’s world: presence. In a life filled with messages, emails, social media, and constant distractions, dance brings your attention back to the present moment. Back to the music. The movement. The experience itself.
For many, dance becomes one of the easiest ways to experience flow, where the mind becomes quiet and the pressure to perform fades away.
At YODS, we do more than teach Ballroom and Latin dance. We give you the tools to build confidence, connect with yourself, and discover the joy that dance can bring to your life. Along the way, you will also improve your fitness, coordination, balance, and body awareness.
Our mission is to help you develop confidence, presence, connection, and joy through movement.

Ballroom and latin dance shoes are designed specifically for dancing. They help dancers move more comfortably, safely, and efficiently on the dance floor.
Dance shoes typically feature:
While many experienced dancers choose ballroom or latin shoes, beginners can comfortably start in dance sneakers, practice shoes, or clean indoor shoes that allow easy movement and turning.
Women's ballroom (standard) shoes are designed to support the upright posture, stability, and smooth movement required in ballroom dances.
Women's latin shoes are designed to support the posture, balance, and expressive movement characteristic of latin dances.
For beginners, lower heels are often the most comfortable and stable choice.
Men's ballroom (standard) shoes are designed to provide stability, comfort, and smooth movement on the dance floor.
Men's latin shoes are designed to provide flexibility, balance, and support for Latin dance technique.
Many dancers also train in practice shoes or dance sneakers, which offer excellent comfort and support for regular classes and practice sessions.
AI coaches
Maria and Julio are coaches who show up whenever you do. In a live session they listen as you talk through what you're working on, watch when you show them a move, and reply in the moment with what to try next. You can also send a clip ahead of time and get a written read back, so when you talk with them you've already got somewhere to start.
It's a conversation. Tap 'Start a session', and your coach is right there to talk dance with you. Ask anything: how to land a turn, what to try when something feels off, why a step keeps tripping you up. Show them a move if you want their eyes on it, or just talk through what's on your mind.
Yes. Send in a clip you've recorded, and your coach watches it from start to finish. A minute or two later you'll have a written read on what's working, what to refine, and what to try next. Bring it to a live session anytime you want to talk it through.
No. They are a companion to your practice, not a substitute. The AI coaches are great between live lessons or whenever you want a second pair of eyes, but the foundations still come from the YODS courses and the human coaches behind them.
