One of the five International Standard dances: lively, in 4/4 time, combining fast footwork, chassés, lock steps and light hopping actions.
A lively ballroom dance danced in 4/4 time at 50–52 bars per minute (200–208 BPM). Quickstep combines fast footwork, chassés, lock steps and light hopping actions while maintaining smooth travelling movement and elegant partner connection.
